“Harem” is Turkish for “Sweat Pants”

I bought these Harem pants from Asos with the hopes of being able to wear them to work, and they’ve proven to be much more useful than that. My first two pairs of harems I purchased in Turkey this summer, but they were a bit too casual for my internship. So I ordered the black Asos version and the shorter rise with the tailored waistband made these perfect for the office. Plus these came in tall lengths, so they’re actually long enough for me to wear as pants and not capris. This outfit was one of the most comfortable ensembles I’ve ever worn- I kept it on from 7am to 11pm! The pants also convert seamlessly into joggers if you ditch the jewelry, swap the top for a thin slouchy sweater and add leather house slippers. Toss your hair in a messy top knot and you’ve got the perfect comfy-chic look!

  1. I like how you put this outfit together and it is a very pretty bracelet too. The fact that Harem pants are so versatile and comfy at the same time makes them probably the best pants ever 😉
    Keep smiling!:)
